API Key Storage & Encryption

End-to-End Encryption

When you choose to save your API keys with us, they are immediately encrypted using industry-standard encryption algorithms before being stored in our database. We use military-grade encryption that ensures your API keys remain secure even if our database is compromised.

Zero-Knowledge Architecture

We cannot see your API keys. Even our developers and system administrators cannot access your decrypted API keys. The encryption keys used to encrypt your API keys are managed separately and are never stored alongside the encrypted data. This means:

Your API keys are encrypted at rest in our database
Only you can decrypt and use your API keys
We only store encrypted versions that are useless without the decryption key
API keys are only decrypted temporarily during extraction requests

Secure Storage

Your encrypted API keys are stored in our secure database with the following protections:

Automatic backups with encrypted storage

Your Control: You can delete your saved API keys at any time from your account settings. Once deleted, the encrypted keys are permanently removed from our systems.
